Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:
Inter County Update:
Our senior team maintained their unbeaten
record in the league following their 1-13 a piece draw with Monaghan on Sunday.
Dublin travel to Donegal this Sunday March 2nd for their 4th
round tie meanwhile Dublin’s next home fixture will be against All Ireland and
reigning league Champion Cork on Sunday March 9th at 2pm in Parnell
Park.

Dublin LGFA Weekly notes:County Board meeting:
A meeting of the County Board will
take place in Parnells GAA club house (Chanel College) on Tuesday the 18th
of February commencing at 7.15pm. The meeting agenda will consist of the
unfinished business from the 11thof February and proposed juvenile grading (U13
to 18).

FUNDAMENTALS:
The Fundamentals course in Naomh Mearnog on Saturday 22nd
of February is FULLY BOOKED with 30 course participants with course fee
paid and places confirmed via email. (12 people on the standby list)
The Fundamentals course in Naomh Olaf on Saturday 1st
of March is also FULLY BOOKED.
Another Fundamentals will be organised in March (late) we
are just awaiting confirmation on dates and tutor availability back from Croke
Park.

Congratulations
to the Dublin Senior team on their 3-09 to 0-07 victory over Kerry in the
league on Sunday great to start the 2014 playing season with a win. The match

our 9000th member!
Congratulations
to Amelia Claffey from Castleknock hurling and football club who is the
official 9000th registered member of the Dublin Ladies Gaelic
Football Association.
As part of
her reward for being the 9000th member, Amelia has been chosen to be
the Dublin mascot at this Sunday’s TESCO Homegrown Ladies NFL game Dublin versus
Kerry.
As Dublin
mascot she will get to meet and mingle with the Dublin players before the game ..

Your Whistle Go Games – Referees Courses
The Dublin Ladies County Board will
be shortly organising THREE Grab
Your Whistle Go Games referees courses with the aim of recruiting NEW referees for the 2014 Go Games playing season.
These courses will be organised in
conjunction with the LGFA Coaching and Games Development department in Croke
Park in the coming weeks - details of dates and times will be confirmed shortly.
