2014 Grab Your Whistle Go Games – Referees Courses

 

The Dublin Ladies County Board will be shortly organising THREE Grab Your Whistle Go Games referees courses with the aim of recruiting NEW referees for the 2014 Go Games playing season.

 

These courses will be organised in conjunction with the LGFA Coaching and Games Development department in Croke Park in the coming weeks - details of dates and times will be confirmed shortly.

(Mid to end of February & early March on weekend dates tbc)

 

The courses will be held across Dublin in three separate venues (1) Fingallians GAA club Swords, (2) St Peregrines GAA club Blakestown Rd and (3) Naomh Olaf GAA Club Sandyford with the Dublin LGFA thankful to all three clubs for making their facilities available to the County Board.

 

Due to the anticipated high demand for places the Dublin LGFA are requesting clubs to inform their members about these courses and to ascertain who in their among their club membership / players would be interested in becoming a Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football referee.

 

Maximum number of participants on each course is 20

 

Important information:

 

Course participants MUST be over 15 years of age to take part in the course.

 

Course duration is three hours.

 

On completion of the course the referee will be qualified to referee Under 8 up to Under 12 Go-Games fixtures only.

 

Course participants who complete the course WILL be requested to purchase an official referees kit from the LGFA Head Office in Croke Park, (Jersey, shorts & socks €50).

 

Places on the course WILL only be confirmed upon receipt of the booking form and course fee of €10 to the office of the Dublin Ladies County Board, Le Chéile, Donnycarney, Dublin 5
