Dublin LGFA Weekly notes:
County Board meeting:
A meeting of the County Board will take place in Parnells GAA club house (Chanel College) on Tuesday the 18th of February commencing at 7.15pm. The meeting agenda will consist of the unfinished business from the 11thof February and proposed juvenile grading (U13 to 18).
Inter County Update:
Congratulations to both our Senior and Minor teams on their victories last weekend over Mayo (NFL) and Offaly (Leinster MFC) respectively. This weekend both teams will be in action again as our senior team travel north to play Monaghan in their refixed NFL fixture on Sunday 23rd while the minors travel to Westmeath for the 2nd round Leinster championship game on Saturday 22nd, best wishes to both squads and their management teams, (Venues and times TBC).
Senior Fund Raiser:
Our senior team are organising a Comedy Night in the Laughter Lounge this Friday February 21st tickets are€25 and can be purchased from any senior panellist or from a member of the senior management team, your support of this venture would be greatly appreciated.
GYW Go Games Referees Course:
Two additional GYW Courses have been confirmed, February 23rd in Naomh Olaf GAA club, 10am to 1pm and on March 2nd in St Peregrines GAA club, 10am to 1pm – booking forms and additional details can be downloaded from our website. Places will only be confirmed subject to availability on receipt of booking form and course fee, €10.
Gaelic4Girls:
Congratulations to St Maurs and St Monica’s who have been chosen by the LGFA to run the Gaelic4Girls programme in total 42 clubs representing all 4 provinces have been selected as host clubs for the 2014 season.
