Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:
Two Dublin teams of equal strength represented the Capital
last weekend in the All Ireland U14 blitz in Portlaoise. Both of our teams
competed extremley well in the competition doing the County proud. Well done to
all the girls and their management team. Next up is the Leinster final on May
28th versus Kildare, venue and times to be confirmed.
May County Board meeting takes place this Tuesday the 17th
at 7.30pm in Parnell Park. All affiliated clubs are required ..

Dublin will field two teams this Saturday in the U14 All
Ireland Blitz which is taking place in Portlaoise GAA, Rathleague, County Laois.
Wishing all the girls and their management team the very best of luck in the
competition, we will post the full fixture list and times once confirmed by the
LGFA.

Club Championship Draws Senior to Junior C 2016

Dublin Club Championship 2016
The draw for
the Senior to Junior C Dublin club championships took place last night at the
April County Board meeting. The opening round of the championship will get
underway on Wednesday May 11th with 41 teams vying for 2016
championship honours across the five championship competitions.
Reigning
senior champions Foxrock Cabinteely will begin the defence of their title with
a home game versus last yearâs County runners up St Brigids. 2..

It was a
busy time on the playing fields for the County with three teams in championship
action last weekend. Congratulations to our minor team who qualified for the
Leinster semi-final with a convincing win over Offaly, 5-14 to 0-02. Our U16âs
also chalked up a good win this time over Kildare, final score 2-19 to 2-04.
While our U14âs battled hard against a strong Kildare outfit that held out for

Dublin Adult League Gradings 2016Adult League gradings for the 2016 season were formally ratified at a meeting of the Dublin LGFA last night. Seventy five teams will compete in adult competitions this season across nine divisions with Wicklow club Blessington been granted permission to compete in AFL 3.
