Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:

AIG Feile 2016:

Congratulations to all our newly crowned Feile champions, Lucan Sarsfields (Div 1), Foxrock Cabinteely (Div 2), Garristown (Div 3), Clanna Gael Fontenoy (Div 4), Parnells (Div 5), Clontarf (Div 6), Naomh Mearnog (Div 7) and St Monica’s (Div 8).

A big thank you to Saturday’s host clubs Kilmacud Crokes, Thomas Davis, St Peregrines, Man O War, St Anne’s, Clontarf, Naomh Mearnog and St Monica’s. Thank you also to St Brigids for stepping in at such short notice to host Sunday’s div 1 to 4 finals and thanks also to Luke in O’Toole Park for looking after our div 5 to 8 finals.

Well done to all our match officials and club volunteers who worked so hard over the entire weekend to make Feile the success it was, thank you one and all.

Finally a sincere thank you to our competition sponsor AIG. AIG is fully committed to supporting Ladies football at grassroots level their sponsorship of Féile is a superb example of their dedication to Dublin LGFA and to the fostering of Gaelic games in the capital across all four codes

Inter County Update:

Another busy weekend on the playing fields for our Inter County stars. On Saturday our U16 team play Louth in the Leinster championship venue, time tbc. On Sunday we have a fantastic double bill in Parnell Park. Up first our U14 team take on Westmeath in the Leinster championship at 12.00 followed by the LIDL NFL final group game between Dublin and Galway at 2pm. Admission to Parnell Park is adults €8, students and OAP’s €5, Children U16 Free, Adult + child U16 €5.
