Dublin LGFA Weekly notes:
Congratulations
to our U16 team who came from 4 points down at half time to defeat Meath on a
score line of 1-15(18) to 2-07 (13). Caoimhe OâConnor from Clontarf was chosen
as the Player of the Match. Dublin will now play Armagh in the All Ireland
Semi-final the game is provisionally set for July 13th but could be
moved forward to the 9/10th of July following a request from the
Armagh County Board, more information to follow shortly.

Government announce support for Ladies Football and CamogieThe Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Patrick OâDonovan TD, today announced a two-year agreement, commencing in 2017, to provide support for Inter-County Ladies Football and Camogie Players. Our senior
team got their 2016 Leinster Championship campaign off to a good start with a
3-15 to 0-04 win over Laois in Portmarnock. This coming Sunday Dublin will
travel to Westmeath for their 2nd round robin game of the series
venue and time are still to be confirmed. Congratulations to Lauren Magee and
Amy Conroy on making their senior Inter County championship debuts in the Laois

Commiserations to our brave U14 team who battled gallantly
versus a strong Kildare side in last Saturdays Leinster final but try as they
might they could not close the gap on their opponents with Kildare holding on
