Gaelic 4 Girls Comes Arriving in Marino

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association will run a 6 week programme of Gaelic football for girls in the Marino area. These girls will never have played the sport before and will be given the opportunity to get involved in the Ladies Gaelic football through this programme. Match Reports from Crokes in Leinster Féile

The girls won their first match against Eadestown by a goal. Their second match was against Naas and they were four points up at half time and they looked comfortable. However, Naas got three quick scores just after half time and that together with two brilliant saves by the Naas goalkeeper in the dying minutes of the match resulted in crokes losing  by a goal despite having plenty of chances which never translated into scores.
