Dublin 1-14  Meath 1-7.Jackies In Control.Defending All-Ireland Minor champions, Dublin, made a successful opening defence to their title with a convincing win over the Royals at a windswept Clann Mhuire pitch on Bank Holiday Monday last. On Saturday, April 25th the  Dublin u14 girls played their Leinster Semi-Final against a much improved Laois side at the Ballyboden St.Endas grounds. Dublin got off to an excellent start clocking up some early scores, putting the visitors under pressure from the start. The Everbuild sponsored Féile Atha Cliath takes place next weekend, 2nd and 3rd May at three venues, namely, St. Sylvesters, Cuala and Ballyboden St. Enda’s. The semi-finals and final will take place on Sunday 3rd in Ballyboden. We would like to thank the clubs concerned for providing us with their facilities for the occasion. Clontarf were visitors to us recently for a Sunday afternoon U16 Div 2 league game. While the result shows St.Margarets as winners I think the real winners on the day were the girls who played the game. If ever an advert was needed for ladies football this was it.
