GRAB YOUR WHISTLE: Two courses are planned for new Referees [or for those who ref other codes and wish to officiate at Ladies games]. These are two day courses and there is a small charge to cover the snack provided - €5. Participants will be required to purchase a full set of Referees kit - €60. Well done to Portabello on winning the 2010 Dubliln Ladies Golf Classic in St Margarets Golf club on Friday last.The Portabello team were John Egan,Jack Goucher, Neville Doyle and Joe Mc Cormack (not in photo)Portabello finished on 93 points the same as Peter Clarkes Parnells team last years winners and Padraig Brogans team. Players who are going to the USA or Canada and who wish to play football with a club there can get a temporary transfer [called an official sanction] There is a form to be completed by the player and her Club Secretary. This sanction allows the player to play from the 31st March to the 30th September only. However, sanctions will not be permitted to go out after 20th July.
