U16 ‘A’ Leinster Championship Semi-Final; Dublin vs Wicklow; Sat 26th June 2010Dublin produced a good display to overcome a spirited Wicklow side in the U16 Leinster Championship Semi Final in Pairc Ui Mhurchu, Ballyboden, on Saturday 26th June. The Under 10s SUMMER BLITZ took place yesterday and was enjoyed by all the participants. We estimate that 300 girls took part this weekend in the three host venues. Thanks to Craobh Chiarain, Cuala and St Annes for making their facilities available. 34 mini-teams from 20 Clubs will participate in our U10 Summer Blitz this Saturday, 26th June.This promises to be a Fun event and we are expecting over 300 girls to participate in the three host venues across the County - Craobh Chiaráin, St Annes and Cuala who are supplying the pitches on the day.The games are 8 minutes a half * with the emphasis on getting each player involved from the Throw-in with the aim of providing football for all girls irrespective of ability. The Dublin Under 16s take on Wicklow in the Leinster Semi Final next Saturday 26th June at 2pm in Ballyboden St Endas All Support Welcome26 candidates from 12 Clubs will be in Naomh Barróg on next Saturday and Sunday 26th & 27th June to learn the skills of Refereeing on the successful GRAB YOUR WHISTLE course.
