"Referees Grab their Whistles"

The final day of the ‘Grab Your Whistle’ course in Dublin took place last Saturday 12th April in Clanna Gael Fonntenoy. Ten new referees qualified and they will now be seen on the pitches in the Capital throughout the summer. Grab Your Whistle is a three day course which took place on Saturday 16th February, Saturday 1st March and finally Saturday 12th April. DUBLIN LADIES UPDATEThe next County Board meeting will take place in Aras Atha Cliath, Parnell Park on Tuesday April 15th at 7.30pm sharp. In what looked from the final scoreline to be a somewhat one-sided affair at Pairc Uí Mhurchú on Monday night last, the first round of this years Dublin minor division 1 league kicked off under torrid conditions.It was a renewal of old rivalries between home side Ballyboden St.Endas and Foxrock-Cabinteely and promised to be one of the most thrilling of the ties in this league.Both teams started the match with great intensity and for the first 15 minutes action was end-to-end.
