Cuala U13 Girls & U14 Boys got together to celebrate 2008 recently.The day started out with a trip to the Ice Skating in the RDS. Then all returned to the Club for refreshments and awards. Well done to everyone involved.
Brigids complete U16 Double

St Brigids U16 panel for 2008 today completed the second half of a Championship and League double.The Under 16 St Brigid’s girls football team finished the season in style on the 14th of December when they added the Division 1 league title to the championship which they won November 23rd . The play-off arose when both Brigid’s and Scoil Ui Chonaill finished the league equal on ten points apiece. Congratulations to Sue Lillis of Clontarf GAA who picked up her Leinster VHI Healthcare Club Person of the Year award in Croke Park last Monday. Sue was piped to the overall All Ireland title by Liz O’Sullivan of Athea Co.Limerick.Well done to the St Brigids U16 panel that completed the second half of League and Championship on Sunday. Best of luck to Sue Lillis of Clontarf GAA who was recently announced Leinster VHI Healthcare Club Person of the Year.Sue will attend Croke Park on Monday the 8th December, when the overall All Ireland winner will be announced.
