Sue Lillis Of Clontarf shortlisted for Club Person Award

  • Dec 07,2008

In this the second year of the Vhi sponsored awards scheme, provincial winners have been introduced due to the phenomenal number of entries from across the length and breadth of the country.

Clontarf and Dublins Sue Lillis is The Leinster Winner in the nominations for Vhi Healthcare Club Person of the Year. Sue came to the game late but has left her mark on the capitals northside of the city. She has played a major role both on and off the pitch and has been instrumental in growing the game in Clontarf ensuring it has the third largest player base in Dublin.  An active club and county board delegate Sue founded an all-girl nursery programme and actively coached the next generation of players from the meadow with the bull.

The overall Vhi Healthcare Club Person of the Year will be announced at a ceremony in Croke Park on Monday 8th December. Dublin County wish Sue every success and hope that she adds another trophy to the "Club of the Year 2008" recently presented at Dublin Awards night.
