McDonnell’s Minor team got the defence of the Leinster title off to a flying
start with a 26 point victory over Westmeath in front of a large crowd in
Parnells GAA club, Coolock.
Dublin
appeared to be nervous in front of their home support and it was Westmeath who
got on the score board first with a converted free inside the opening minute of

Pat Kane manager of the Dublin U16 team has announced his panel for the
forthcoming Leinster Championship campaign.
All players listed below are requested to meet in Clanna Gael Fontenoy
GAA club this coming Friday night February13th at 6.45pm.
The panel will be travelling to play Waterford in a challenge match on
Saturday February 14th – full details and arrangements for the

Galway would proceed this afternoon in Tuam as the Connacht venue was surrounded

Trials continue on Saturday morning at 8am in Clanna Gael Fontenoy GAA club which is
located in Sean Moore Park, Ringsend.
The players
to play DIT in a challenge game next Tuesday will be issued shortly.
All girls are
requested to bring their own water bottle and to insure they have a gum shield
(compulsory).

Over 240 girls tried out for the team the standard on
display was exceptionally high throughout the process.
