Leinster Championship Round Up:

Dublin Minors, U16’s and U14’s all enjoyed victories in the Leinster championship this weekend.

On Saturday the Dublin U14’s recorded a good win for the Dubs U14s today over Meath with the full time score reading, Dublin 6-10 Meath 5-6. 

This opening round Leinster fixture played before a large home support was an entertaining contest from start to finish with Dublin edging out a spirited Meath side by seven points in the end.

On the score card for Dublin where Kate O'Connor 2-1, Roisin McGovern 2-2, Eimear Griffin 1-0, Katie McNally 1-3, Chloe Monaghan 0-2, Grace Kos 0-2.

The second game of the double bill played in Pairc Uí Murchu saw the Dublin U16’s edge out their Meath counter parts by 7-12 to 2-8. Corner forward Caoimhe O’Connor from Clontarf was the Dubs top scorer finishing the game was four goals to her credit. Also on the score sheet for the blues were Clara O'Sullivan 0-05, Aoibhe Bell 2-00, Danielle Lawless 1-02, Niamh Carey 0-02, Jennifer Dunne 0-02, Michelle Carey 0-01

The Dublin minor team completed the hat trick of Leinster victories for the Capital on Sunday afternoon when they saw off Kildare in a closely contest game by 1-12 to 1-06 with Emily Brown the Dubs goal scorer.
