Dub Stars 2011:
The annual
Dub Stars event takes place on Tuesday the 27th of December in St
Brigids GAA club, Navan Road. First up at 11:00am is the Camogie fixture with
the 2011 Dub Stars Camogie team v Dublin, while at 12:30pm the Dublin Dub Stars
football team will take on the Dublin team.
All are
welcome to come along admission is Free and two entertaining games are
guaranteed.

Ãosagáin senior team made history last week as they became the first Dublin
team to qualify for the Leinster A football final after coming through an
absorbing semi-final against St Mary's of Edenderry in Belfield by 3-8 to 2-06.
The game
began at a vigorous pace with Mary's the first to get on the score sheet thanks
to a well-executed point from full forward Donna Cormican after three minutes.

Games Development Conference 2012

The GAA
Games Development Conference will take place on January 14, 2012 in Croke Park.
The Conference, kindly sponsored by Lucozade Sport, is held in association with
the complete family of Gaelic games - Camogie, Ladies Gaelic football, Handball
and Rounders. Following on from the success of the 2010 Conference - which
focussed on issues related to the development of the child player - the 2011
Conference will focus on issues related to the Youth Player (aged 13 - 18
years).

LGFA Special Congress in Croke Park this weekend

Management and Central Council delegates of the LGFA will be arriving in Dublin on Friday the 9th of December to attend a Special Congress of the association. Delegates will be working hard in Croke Park discussing, debating and deciding upon the new rules for the Ladies Gaelic Football Association.A specially appointed rules committee have been working for over the last couple of years to review and amend the on and off field rules of Ladies Gaelic Football. The annual playing of the Dub
Stars Camogie and Ladies Football games
will take place in St Brigid's GAA Club, Navan Road on Tuesday the 27th
December. This is a great sporting occasion with both Associations working
closely together to provide players of both codes with a suitable stage to play
against the best in the county.
The Camogie Dubs Stars v
Dublin game starts at 11.00am followed by the Ladies Football game, Dubs Stars
v Dublin at 12.30pm.
