Bord Gáis Energy NFL:

Congratulations to Dublin on their second win of the league following their three points win over Meath in Ashbourne yesterday, Dublin 0-10 Meath 0-03. Images from the game can be viewed on GAApics.com

This Sunday, February 19th, Dublin play host to All Ireland champion Cork, this match will take place in Pairc Uí Murchu (Ballyboden St Endas) @ 2pm.

We are appealing to clubs to really get behind the team and to bring as many juvenile players as possible to the game. U16's are free while admission for Adults is€8, Students/Senior Citizen's €4.

This is the first of Dublin two home games in this year's NFL so it is an ideal opportunity for clubs to come along and see the games top players in action.

 

February County Board Meeting:

February County Board meeting will take place on Tuesday the 14th of February @ 7:30pm sharp in Parnell Park. The agenda for the 14th has been emailed to club Secretaries and County Board delegates.

A special meeting of the County Board will take place on Saturday the 18th of February @ 2pm in Le Chéíle; Donnycarney Community Centre this meeting will deal exclusively with all team gradings both adult and juvenile, for the 2012 season.

Team list books will be on sale at Tuesday night's meeting, cost €10.00

 

Grab Your Whistle - new referees course:

A referee's course aimed at recruiting new referees to Ladies football will take place this coming weekend Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of February from 10am -4pm in Round Towers GAA club, Clondalkin. The course fee is €20.00 which includes lunch for both days; participants must be 16 years of age and over. Booking from can be download from www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie, the form and course fee must be returned to the office in Le Chéíle, before 1pm on Friday.

 

Well done to all 26 participants who completed their GYW course in St Peregrines last weekend under the watchful of LGFA tutor, Ms Eileen Jones.

 

FUNdamentals Coaching Course:

A FUNdamentals coaching course will take place on Saturday the 24th of March from 10am to 4pm in the main hall Le Chéíle Donnycarney Community Centre, Dublin 5. The course fee is €30 (lunch is included). This course is an introductory to the coaching programme. Coaches will look at issues such as planning and implementing training programmes as well as practical coaching and introduction to the player pathway.

The course booking form is also available to download from our website www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie  places will only be confirmed on receipt of the booking form and course fee, participants must be over 16 years of age.
