Na Fianna B too strong for Ballyboden
April 15, 2013
Division

Na Fianna B
2-3
Ballyboden
St Enda's C 0-0
The
diminutive duo of Aoife Malone and Ellie McAleer proved too hot to handle as Na
Fianna claimed the division six title in style, building a 1-3 to no score
advantage at half-time which they protected well.
McAleer had
already fired a warning shot before Malone cracked home the first goal to start
the scoring.
Ballyboden's
Katelyn Dunleavy Larkin's surging runs were causing problems but the Firhouse

Raheny 1-0
St Jude's
eked out the division five title as they took their points, seeing off Raheny in
a tight-knit tussle to open up finals day at Lawless Memorial Park.
Niamh
Gannon gave her side the perfect start with an early point before a superb
exchange between Sofie Dunworth and Aisling Keyes yielded the game's opening
goal.

St Oliver
Plunkett's Eoghan Ruadh 0-6
St Anne's
0-1
A five-star
second half performance saw St Oliver Plunkett's Eoghan Ruadh storm to victory
in the division four Feile final.
It broke a
first half deadlock after the sides had contested a tight, cagey opening
quarter hour that ended 0-1 each.
Sinead O'Brien
kicked the first point with a tidy effort, cleaning up the scraps after a
goalmouth scramble. Anne's responded though with a very nice score ..

Scoil Ui
Chonnaill 1-3
Shauna
Kelly's pair of booming first half goals saw St Brigid's make the best use of
the strong wind coming from the clubhouse end at Lawless Memorial Park to
withstand an epic Scoil Ui Chonnail fightback.
Held
scoreless in the first half, Scoil looked dead and buried with nine points in
the gap at the interval but Olivia Gleeson's goal breathed live into the tie and
they got back to within three points.
