LGFA Summer Camp - A great success!
Week 2 of
the Dublin Ladies Summer Camps takes place next week in St Peregrines GAA club,
Blakestown.
A number
of places on the camp are still available - the camp is for girls aged 9-13
years they run for the week each day from 10am to 3pm. Camp fee is â¬55 - for

Grown Dublin Club Championships 2013:
Round up, Thursday August 8th.
The line ups for this year's TESCO Home Grown Dublin
Club Championships 2013 senior, Intermediate, Junior and Junior B finals are complete.
Fingallians the newly crowned division 1 league
champions will face the 2011 winners Na Fianna in the senior championship
final. Fingallians had a comfortable win over Ballyboden St Endas while Na
Fianna had just a single point to spare over St Brigids.

Kick Fade Competition - 14th September

The Annual
Bray Emmets Kick Fada competition will take place on Saturday 14th September in
Bray Emmets GAA Club.
Two years
ago the ladies event was in danger of being scrapped due to lack of interest.
Last year, after a great response from the county boards, there were 25
entrants on the day and the contest was the most competitive to date.
The
competition is free to enter and there is a generous prize for the winner.
There is
also a BBQ on the day to feed tired participant..

Irish Cancer Society - Fund Raiser

Help raise much needed
funds for the Irish Cancer Society
The Irish
Cancer Society have launched their new âBig Championship' appeal and are asking
for Ladies Gaelic Football Clubs to help them to raise much needed funds to go
toward Cancer Research. All your club has to do is host a match with 70% of all
money raised to go towards the Irish Cancer Society with the clubs keeping the
remaining 30% of the funds generated.

Level 2 Referees Course

A level 2 referee's refreshers course will take place on
Saturday 10th of August from 10am-12 noon in Craobh Chiarain GAA club, located
adjacent to Parnell Park
All referees who are currently officiating Ladies football at U13 to
Adult grades are requested to attend. Any Referee who has not attended the
previous two courses MUST ATTEND or subsequently will not be allocated further
games for the 2013 season
