Nichola Murphy - TESCO HG POM for May

  • Jun 12,2013

Congratulations to Nichola Murphy from Croi Ro Naofa who is the TESCO homegrown Dublin Ladies Club Player of the Month for May

Nichola  has been to the fore for Croí Ró Naofa this season, vacating her normal berth in their Ladies Div. 3 team's defence, Nichola played a pivotal role from midfield during an injury crisis to steer the Croi girls home with three points to spare v St Peregrines.

Her feats helped her team claim top spot in their championship group, and a home semi-final in the next stage, her performance stood out for the work-rate, encouragement and energy shown during the game.

Alongside this, Nichola recently began coaching in Croi Ro Naofa's local schools as part of a work scheme placement. She helped organise the first Secondary school game between Mount Seskin College and Killinarden Community School, while helping mentor Mark Mooney train their new Ladies U14 team who won their first game v Whitehall Colmcilles in May.
