Development Information Update:
The Dublin LGFA in association with the Coaching & Development department in Croke Park have organised a number of courses for July & August.
(1) FUNdamentals:
This course is an introductory to the coaching programme. Coaches will look at issues such as planning and implementing training programmes as well as practical coaching and introduction to the player pathway.
This course is ideal for NEW Clubs or any club member / player or parent who are interested in getting involved in coaching.
Dublin will host two FUNdamentals courses on Saturday July 20th, courses will be held in two venues one on the north side and one south side
North side venue:
St Monica's Youth Centre, Tonlegee Road
South side venue:
TBC
FUNdamentals Course FEE is €20.00 per person & participants must be over 16 years of age, the course commences at 10am sharp and is a six hour course (10am to 4pm).
(2) Grab Your Whistle:
This course is aimed at recruiting and training NEW referees to officiate at small sided games. On completion of the course the referee will be qualified to referee small sided games
(Go Games) U9 up to and including U12
The course FEE is €10 per person and course participants must be 15 years and over
Dublin will host two separate GYW courses the first on Saturday July 13th and the second on August 10th, both courses will be held in Le Cheile Community Centre, Donny carney.
Please note the times of the GYW courses Saturday 13th July 9:30am to 1pm
Saturday 10th August 10am to 1:30pm
