Kick Fade Competition - 14th September

The Annual Bray Emmets Kick Fada competition will take place on Saturday 14th September in Bray Emmets GAA Club.
Two years ago the ladies event was in danger of being scrapped due to lack of interest. Last year, after a great response from the county boards, there were 25 entrants on the day and the contest was the most competitive to date.
The competition is free to enter and there is a generous prize for the winner.
There is also a BBQ on the day to feed tired participants and hungry supporters.
This year the event is being sponsored by the DAA and for the first time in its 14 year history the competition will be an international one, with long kick competitions taking place around the world including Australia, North America, Canada and Europe. The international champions will come to Bray Emmets GAA Club in September to compete with the Irish competitors.
Previous winners of the competition are listed below. Last year's winning kick was 45m. Although all entries are welcome we would especially encourage goalkeepers and free takers to participate as these have a history of good performances!
Entrants can be club or county players but must be over the age of 18.
