2010 has been a momentous year for Dublin and the success keeps coming as further history was made last Saturday night when Dublin bagged six All Star Awards. This was the highest number of awards won by the County at one event and it topped the four won back in 2004. Dublin ladies will have to defend their Leinster and All-Ireland Tg4 titles under new management following the decision of boss Gerry McGill and his selectors to step down from their positions. A Brilliant Banquet

Everyone agreed it was a brilliant banquet, the best ever. It was a fitting tribute to a wonderful year in Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football and it marked the end of the 25thanniversary of the County Board. The icing on the cake was the line up of silverware at the presentation table – six trophies in all – including the Brendan Martin Cup. Almost 300 guests assembled to celebrate Dublin Ladies contribution to the Gaelic life of the County in the Hogan Mezzanine Suite in Croke Park on Saturday ..
