Bord Gais Enery Launch - a Captains Role!

Captain Gemma Fay performed her first official duty yesterday when she took
park in the official launch of the 2012 Bord Gáis Energy Ladies NFL in Croke
Park.
Dublin get
their 2012 campaign under way this coming Sunday when they take on Leinster
rivals Kildare @ 2pm in Ballykelly.

Venue announced for Dubs opening NFL game
January 27, 2012
Dublin
reigning Bord Gáis Energy division 2 champions will play their opening game in
the 2012 division 1 NFL league versus Kildare in Ballykelly Co.Kildare on
Sunday the 5th of February @ 2pm. Pat Kehoe from Carlow will be the
official in charge of this all Leinster clash.

Masterson wins Supporters Club Award

Masterson was presented with the Dublin Supporters Club Dublin Ladies
Footballer of the Year award at a special ceremony held in the Skylon Hotel
last night.
The
All- Ireland winning captain of 2010 had an outstanding year in the sky blue
jersey last season and was a worthy winner of this award.

Aisling McGing Trials 2012

Dublin have participated
in the Aisling McGing championship every year since its inception back in 2007 and
won the title for the first time in 2010 following a pulsating performance
against Cork.
This is an
ideal opportunity for a player to dawn the Sky Blue jersey and represent her club
at Inter County level.

of football played at this level is extremely high and players will be required

Fay to lead Dubs in 2012

Ballyboden St Endas Star, Gemma Fay has been named as the
Dublin senior captain for 2012 taking over the role from TG4 goal keeper of the
decade and two times All Star Cliodhna O'Connor.
Fay is a well-established member of the Dublin
senior panel and the vastly experience defender is known for her steely
displays in the sky blue jersey. The leadership qualities which she shows on
the field of play will assist her greatly in her new role as Dublin Captain.

Affiliation form / team application forms for the 2012
playing season have been issued to all clubs.
As in previous years clubs must fill out a form for each
team they are entering into competition for 2012. Note: in relation to
Faoi Naoi, U10 and U11 team entries; we require the number of teams (grade is not applicable to these age groups).
All sections of the form are to be filled out. Dublin LGFA are trying
to identify club mentors who to date have not completed a recognis..
