Well done to Dublin Senior B Panel who advanced to All Ireland Final (Aisling McGing Cup) on 21st September against Cork. Under 12 B BlitzDublin Under 12 girls Packed another bus and travelled to Carlow to compete in the Leinster B Blitz on Saturday 30th August.The rain held off for most of the day and the football was fantastic. We entered three teams, A, B and C and they played in divisions one two and three respectively. Well done to Ballyboden Wanderers who won the Junior E Championship during mid week. Wanderers and Raheny served up 120 minutes of excellent entertainment for both sets of fans and neutrals. It was the first championship win for Wanderers in 40 years. The final day of the ‘Grab Your Whistle’ course in Dublin took place recently in Kilmacud Crokes. Nine new referees qualified, with nine more just to finish the next final day, and they will now be seen on the pitches in the Capital throughout the summer. These referees were from a variety of clubs and the county is sure to benefit from their presence.
