This was fitting tribute to a man who transformed the structure and organisation of Dublin Ladies football from an association which was tired on its feet to become the largest female sporting organisation in the Capital.

Camillus received a standing ovation from the floor and in an emotional speech he paid tribute to those on the Executive committee who worked with him to help Dublin become the association it is today. Camillus was joined on stage by his Wife Una and his three daughters.

The Dublin LGFA also made a special presentation to Sean Shanley (Vice Chairperson of the Dublin GAA County Board) to recognise the great achievement of Dublin's All Ireland win over Kerry.
