Kilmacud Crokes take on St Brigids for U14 crown!

Scenes of jubilation were witnessed last weekend in Blanchardstown following the arrival of the Dublin senior championship cup to Tom Russell Park the home of St Brigids GAA club.
Owing to the County final taking place in Parnell Park last Sunday the eagerly awaited U14 division 1 championship final between St Brigids and Kilmacud Crokes was postponed with that final now taking place this coming Sunday the 13th of November @ 5pm in Russell Park.

Both Brigids and Kilmacud process some real nuggets of talent between then both clubs have nine players who were members of the Dublin U14 squad who captured the 2011 Leinster title but who also lost out to Cork in the All-Ireland final.

Aoife Kane, Emma Byrne, Holly Greer, Lauren Bedford and Lauren McGee will be hoping to perform well for the Stillorgan outfit while Ann Marie Troy, Aoibheann Lynch, Katie Nyhan and Niamh O’Neill will be aiming to claim another championship title for the progressive St Brigids club.

Kilmacud Crokes are the reigning Dublin Féile champions and will be optimistic of adding another title to their roll of honour for this season, a great game of football is bound to on the cards come Sunday.

The U14 Div 2 championship final between St Sylvester’s and Templeogue Synge Street will act as the curtain raiser to the St Brigids v Kilmacud Crokes final this game has a 3pm throw in time.
