Castleknock are the TESCO / Evening Herald Ladies Football Club of the Month for September.
Castleknock was established back in 1998 and have 253 females playing football and are currently fielding one adult team and 12 juvenile teams. Castleknock also have a strong girls nursery where 60 girls aged between 6-8 years are being coached the skills of Gaelic football.
The club who are only 13 years in existence are moving from strength to strength in all codes with success at juvenile level now coming through the adult ranks with Castleknock winning the Junior B championship this season.
Congratulations to all the members and players from Castleknock who are worthy winners of this award.
