Irish Guide Dog Family Walk:
Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football in association with our official charity Irish Guide Dogs is inviting all Dublin Ladies club, teams, player’s, mentors young and old to come along and join in the Guide Dogs Family Dog Walk on Saturday the 8th of October.
There are no sponsorship cards all we are asking is that Dublin LGFA clubs where possible sell the official guide dogs high viz wrist bands (€5 for a pack of 2) to their players and members in order to raise much needed funds for this great charity. There is no onus on clubs to sell the bands but we would be grateful for support however big or small.
You can still take part in the walk and show your support for the tremendous work being done by the Irish Guide Dog Association without having to wear a wristband!
Wrist bands and promotional posters can be collected from the Dublin LGFA office in Le Chéile, Donnycarney Community Centre this week 9am to 1pm and next week 9am to 5pm.
In order to add to the occasion clubs are being encouraged to wear their club jerseys / colours on the walk which should make the walk a colourful event!! The two meeting points are as follows:
The meeting points for St. Annes Park is the park entrance to Sybill Hill, road beside St. Pauls School. Co-ordinator will be in wearing yellow high viz jacketing while the Bushy Park meeting point is opposite Terenure College.
