  • Sep 09,2011
Congrats to St Sylvesters on winning the Tesco Junior "A" Championship last Wednesday. Thanks also to St Maurs who put in a great effort to make this a showcase game for Ladies Football. Míle Buíochas to Fingallians who provided the venue and hospitality on the night.

St Sylvesters now take on St Annes [Wexford] in the opening round of the Leinster Junior Club Championship with the details of this fixture still to be decided.

Round Towers Clondalkin travel to Fr McGee Park [Aughnacliffe, Longford] to open their Intermediate Club campaign in Leinster on Sunday. Best wishes.

Remember to have any correspondence in to the office by close of business on Tuesday next 13th September for the September Co Board meeting.

The Office will remain closed until further notice and we wish Patricia a speedy recovery. Meanwhile the officers will take calls and answer emails - please be patient as it is not always possible to deal immediately with matters as the officers go about their ‘day jobs.

The Tesco Juvenile Championships start this weekend. Best wishes to all the girls.

Good luck too to all the contestants in tomorrows MBNA KICK FADA competition out in Bray Emmets.

We are still awaiting some lists of panels for Juvenile Championship. From the Bye-Laws:
Where a Club fields more than one team it shall submit the panels [in Juvenile ages not less than 15 players in Division 1; 13 players in division 2 and 11 players in division 3 and in Adult grades not less than 18 players on the first team] of each team to the County Secretary prior to commencement of competitions.
So if you have say 2 Under 14 teams we need the names of the players in each a.s.a.p. Many thanks to the Clubs who have these in already.

finally, best wishes to the Dublin U21 lads in their All Ireland Hurling in Thurles tomorrow
