  • Sep 01,2011

Since the foundation of the Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Association back in 1985 Dublin have been identified as a progressive and dynamic organisation. Dublin LGFA has witnessed huge growth within its association with player membership expected to exceed the 7000 mark this season and 63 clubs affiliated to the board in 2011.

The growth of Ladies Gaelic football within Dublin has coincided with tremendous success for our County and Club teams at both Provincial and National level. But rather than seat back and relish the fruits or our labour the Dublin LGFA aspire to bring Dublin  to the next level and enhance further the standard of coaching both at County and grass roots level.

Dublin LGFA is fully committed to the Development policies set out by Croke Park. One such policy is the establishment of Development Squads are U13, U15 and U17 level. In Dublin we see the Development Squad programme playing a key role in the future success of our County this success will also filter down into our clubs.
