Countdown to Final!
The first of the TESCO Club Championship finals will take place tomorrow night in Parnell Park when Clontarf take on Round Towers of Clondalkin in the Intermediate final.
Both clubs have been very impressive en route to the final ironically both teams were pitted against each other in the group stages were Clontarf came through unbeaten. Ironically the only team to have beaten Round Towers to date in the championship were Clontarf in the last group tie however since that encounter both teams have enjoyed impressive wins in their respective semi-finals and confidence will be high in both camps.
Clontarf claimed a famous victory when they defeated a hotly tipped Parnell’s side by one point in their semi-final whereas Round Towers had an impressive four point win over the previously unbeaten Kilmacud Crokes.
Tomorrows final will be an interesting encounter and one not to be missed.
Throw in time at the Donnycarney venue is 7.15pm
