Dublin versus Kildare in Qualifiers

All Ireland champions Dublin have been drawn against Leinster side Kildare in the first round of the TG4 senior championship qualifiers.

Dublin who lost out to Meath by a single point in last Sundays Leinster semi final will have their work cut out against a up and coming Kildare outfit who ironically also lost their semi final to Laois again by a single point.

Kildare who are managed by Dublin native Paul Kelly have never beaten Dublin in the Senior championship but with Dublin knocked back by last Sundays shock defeat it is all to play for.

The other first round fixtures are:

Down v Donegal

Sligo v Armagh

Clare v Tipperary

Games will be played on the weekend of the 23/24th of July with one fixture down on the August bank holiday Monday.
