U14s take home U14 Blitz title

Well done to the 19 girls who travelled to representative Dublin in the Annual Leinster U14 blitz. The tournament was held in 20+ degree heat and hummidy which provided a challenge for both the mentors and players in the Caribbeannlike conditions.
Dublin won all of their 3 group matches
Wexford (1-8 to 0-1)
Meath (1-9) to 1-1)
Laois (1-9 to 2-3)
In the final Dublin were paired against Wexford.At half time Wexford had the lead 1-1 to 0-1. This Dublin U14 panel demonstrated in the All Ireland U14 final against Cork that they just do not give up. In the second half the young Jackies held Wexford scoreless and kicked 3-3 themselves, to finish on a scoreline of 3-4 to 1-1.
