Dublin begin defence of Senior B Crown

The Dublin senior B management team have an earlier start to their season than was expected due to the withdrawal of Tipperary from the Aisling McGing championship as a result of Tipp’s withdrawal the format of the competition was changed by officials in Croke Park from a round robin system to a league structure.

Dublin who were due to start their defence of the Senior B All Ireland title on the 24th of July v Mayo now have their first round tie at home to Galway this coming Sunday June 19th in St Margarets GAA club with a 3pm throw in time.

Dublin’s other fixtures in the 2011 Aisling McGing Championship are:
2nd / 3rd July home v Mayo
23rd /24th July away v Kerry
6th/7th August away v Meath
20th /21st August home v Cork

The top four Counties will qualify for the semi-finals 1 v 4 : 2 v 3 with the first placed teams having home advantage in the knock out stage.

The semi-finals are pencilled in for the 3rd of September with the final taking place on the 17th September.
