These players may play with their Home Club or County in their respective championships.
US and Canadian Summer Sanction Forms have been emailed to all clubs.

Match Results:
As you are all aware Dublin LGFA use the Esportsmanager text system to obtain our match results. It is becoming apparent that some mentors only return the result when their team wins!!
Please ask your mentors to comply and return the result as soon as possible there is great interest in our competitions and having our results available quickly on our website is a great resource for everybody involved in our game, so full cooperation from all would be appreciated!!
Should any mentor for whatever reason not be receiving the results text please inform the office so we can rectify that issue ASAP

House Keeping:
Team List Books:
A number of clubs appear not to have the official team list book and as a result some of the types of resources being used to list their players are of very poor quality (scraps of paper, note paper etc.) with names being totally illegible. Team list books are available from the Dublin LGFA office in Le Chéile and cost €10.00

Player’s names = Jersey numbers: At the 2010 Annual Congress of LGFA rule 375 was amend to read “Duplicate lists of players giving full names and in the case of Intercounty games, clubs to which the players belong must be given to the referee before the commencement of the game in all official games. Each player’s jersey number must correspond to that player’s name. Where more than 15 names appear on team lists, the first 15 shall be taken as constituting the actual team, unless otherwise clearly indicated”.

Note: A player’s FULL name must be listed on the team list from analysing referees reports coming into the office some mentors are developing the trend of just listing a player’s abbreviated name this is in breach of rule 375.

Clarification of rules and regulations:
A number of queries have come into the office lately regarding how many players a mentor can play in the juvenile league. So just to clarify the regulation is as follows:
Division 1 is 15 a side
Division 2: Maximum available* up to 15 [minimum 13] with sides being equalised for injuries.
Division 3 and below:  Maximum available* up to 15 [minimum 11] with sides being equalised for injuries.
Note that [except in mini-games] 11 players MUST start the game – Official Guide Rule 371
* Maximum available means that the team present with the lowest number of players- provided that it meets the criteria for its division, determines the number of starting players on the pitch irrespective of how many players the other team has. If the determining team loses a player through injury or otherwise, the other team must remove a player to equalise the sides.

Example 1: Team A [Div 2] has 17 players & Team B has 14. The game is 14-a-side and Team A has 3 players on the bench. Team B loses a player through injury – Team A removes a player and has 4 players on the bench.
Example 2: Team A [Div 2] has 12 players and Team B has 20. In Div 2 the minimum is 13 so Team B can put 13 of its 20 out against the Team A’s 12. If Team A loses a player there is no effect on Team B as this is below the ’13-a-side’ threshold.
Example 3: Team A [Div3] has 25 players and Team B has 10. No game as this is outside the Rules of the Association. A ‘friendly’ may be played and the Referee makes a note in the match report. Points to Team A.

Kick out:
There is some confusion regarding the amended rule pertaining to the kick out. To simplify for a wide ball the player takes the kick out from the 13m line for a score she takes the kick out from the 20m line.
