Dublin’s hugely popular Faoi Naoi which is a non-competitive competition for girls aged 9 years and under begins on Sunday. While Mothers across the County will be pampered and showered upon with flowers and chocolates a group of young girls will be taking their first steps into the world of Ladies Gaelic Football, thus making Sunday a special day from them too!
Over 200 girls from 17 clubs across six venues will out playing Gaelic football and enjoying themselves.Great credit goes to the Faoi Naoi committee, Colum Cronin, JJ Hegarty and Ray Doyle for the time, work and effort they have put into making Faoi Naoi happen.
Well done also the mentors, parents and referees who will all be on hand on Sunday to ensure that everybody enjoys the occasion and has fun with the only winner being Ladies football.
