Young Dubs get Leinster Campaign off with a win!

On Saturday, Dublin enjoyed a victory over the Royals with a 2-12 to 2-07 victory in the opening round of the under 16 championship. Fielding with five of the players that won last year’s under 16 All Ireland, Dublin had a 1-08 to 0-2 lead on Meath at half time.

Maria McGrath from Ballyboden was Dublin’s top scorer on the day bagging 1-03. Niamh Rackard from Fingallians also raised the green flag for Dublin while, Fiona Tuite, Carla Rowe, Suzanne Campbell and Ciara McGuigan ensured that all six Dublin forwards where on the score sheet.
