Bord Gáis Energy NFL Div 2 the story so far..

  • Feb 21,2011

As we approach the half way stage of the Bord Gáis Energy NFL and with all 8 Counties having played three rounds, division 2 is starting to look like a three way race between, Dublin, Kerry and Meath.

Only score difference separates Dublin and Kerry from the top spot with both Counties on 9 points while Meath suffered a narrow two point defeat at the hands of the Kingdom last weekend and are in third place on 6 points.

Without being too precocious it would be safe to presume that these three Counties should be in the reckoning for the semi-finals but who will take the coveted fourth spot and the last semi-final place.

Cavan, Waterford, Armagh and Tipperary have all won one game apiece while Sligo have yet to register any league points.

The semi-final pairings will be 1 v 4 and 2 v 3; games will be played at neutral venues.
