Bord Gáis Energy NFL: Best of luck to the Senior team in their second NFL game versus Tipperary on Sunday. The game is being played in JK Brackens GAA in Templemore commencing @ 12.30. If you can’t make the game match updates will appear both on our Facebook and Twitter pages. 

February County Committee Meeting: The County Board will meet on Tuesday the 22nd of February @ 7.30pm in Parnell Park the agenda will be circulated to clubs ahead of the meeting. All clubs should have a delegate in attendance.Player transfer applications along with correspondence must be with the office on or before Tuesday the 15th of February as all transfer application are examined by the Executive Committee prior to going before delegates for consideration at monthly County Board meetings. 

Club Contact Information: A club contact information form has been emailed to all clubs we are asking clubs to confirm their club contacts (1) for receiving emails / correspondence from the County Board, (2) contacts for their clubs for people accessing our “find a club” section on our website. Potential new players may use this facility on our website therefore it is very important that your club information, pitch directions, website address etc. is correct. I would be grateful if you could fill in the form and return it to the office on or before the 22nd of February. 

Level 1 coaching course: A level 1 coaching course will take place on the 12th of March in two venues one Northside and one Southside. Mentors must have a completed a Fundamentals course in order to do the level 1. The course is specific to Ladies Gaelic football and is ran over two days with the second date TBC, the course fee is €80.00 Anyone interested in doing the level 1 course can email Camillus Kilpatrick for more information at dublindevelopmentofficer@gmail.com. Applications forms are also available to download from the website and are again have been emailed to clubs. 

Adult and Faoi Naoi affiliations: The 8th of February was the closing date for adult and Faoi Naoi team affiliations if your club is interested in fielding this year at these grades we need your affiliation forms and fees ASAP, form attached again have been emailed to all clubs.

Dublin Senior Team Commemorate Print: In order to commemorate their achievement in 2010 the Dublin Ladies Senior Team has commissioned a limited edition print that captures some of the highlights of the 26th September 2010 and their convincing win over Tyrone.  Moving away from a framed team photo, the print captures some key moments of the All-Ireland final, records the score on the day and displays the names of all those involved in the Dublin Ladies Team in 2010. The limited edition print will be available to buy from members of the Dublin Ladies Panel or from the Dublin Ladies County Board office for €150, with all funds raised going to the Dublin Senior Ladies Players Fund for 2011.  The print can be viewed in the office in Le Chéile, Donnycarney Community Centre. 

Challenge games: Clubs are reminded if they are organising challenge games they must first seek approval from the County Board. Players who take part in challenge games that have not received permission will not be covered under the terms of the Injury fund scheme.  Please note that text messages are not deemed a suitable means of notification all requests should be in emailed into the office. All challenge games requests can be emailed to info@dublinladiesgaelic.iePaul McLoughlin is our referees assigner and he can be contacted on 086-2503844. 

Registration Forms: The new registration form and guidelines have been circulated to all clubs please ensure that all new players are registered before commencing training or playing matches.

 Senior B Trials: Dublin senior b trials will take place on Friday the 25th of February @ 7.30pm in St Margaret’s GAA club. Anyone interested in taking part can contact Pat Stritch on 086-8320463. 

Work in Progress: Mary O’Connor our fixtures secretary and her committee is currently working on compiling the fixtures for the 2011 season. Fixtures are generated via the Esportsmanager system therefore some fixtures may from time to time be viewed on the club section of our website please note THESE ARE NOT THE CONFIRMED FIXTURES they are a work in progress and are / will be subject to change. The fixtures for 2011 will be emailed to ALL clubs once approved and are verified by the fixtures committee.
