Bord Gáis Energy NFL:
Well done to the senior team on their great start to the season with a 2-17 to 1-04 win over Armagh. Orlagh Egan was the star of the second half when she raised the green flag twice which effectively but an end to any Armagh comeback.


Congratulations to our mascot winner Niamh Keenan, well done to all the players from Clontarf, Na Fianna, Parnells and Naomh Barrog who showcased their football skills at half time.

Great credit goes to Fingallians GAA club and their wonderful team of volunteers who insured that the game got played on Sunday, thank you one and all. Dublin’s next NFL game is away to Tipperary this coming Sunday 13th of February but please check the website for confirmation of the venue while Dublin’s next home game will be versus Waterford on the 19th of February.
 
County Committee Meeting:
The County Board will meet on Tuesday the 8th of February @ 7.30pm in Parnell Park the revised agenda will be circulated to clubs ahead of the meeting. All clubs should have a delegate in attendance.
Proposed juvenile club grading’s and proposed rules and regulations for the 2011 season where circulated last week to all clubs. These proposals will be debated at the meeting on Tuesday night.

Club Mentor Workshop:
Northside clubs were given an informative and interesting presentation last week by Lyn Savage and Rosemary Coyle at the club mentor workshop, mentors gained a lot of important information from the evening. The Southside workshop takes place this coming Wednesday the 9th of February @ 7.30pm in Naomh Olaf GAA club. Southside clubs are requested to email the names of their mentors attending the workshop to Camillus Kilpatrick ASAP dublindevelopmentofficer@gmail.com

Adult affiliations:
The 8th of February is the closing date for adult team affiliations, forms have been circulated previously to all clubs.


Dublin Senior Team Commemorate Print:
In order to commemorate their achievement in 2010 the Dublin Ladies Senior Team has commissioned a limited edition print that captures some of the highlights of the 26th September 2010 and their convincing win over Tyrone.  Moving away from a framed team photo, the print captures some key moments of the All-Ireland final, records the score on the day and displays the names of all those involved in the Dublin Ladies Team in 2010. The limited edition print will be available to buy from members of the Dublin Ladies Panel or from the Dublin Ladies County Board office for €150, with all funds raised going to the Dublin Senior Ladies Players Fund for 2011.  The print can be viewed in the office in Le Chéile, Donnycarney Community Centre.

Challenge games:
Clubs are reminded if they are organising challenge games they must first seek approval from the County Board. Players who take part in challenge games that have not received permission will not be covered under the terms of the Injury fund scheme.  All challenge games requests can be emailed to info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie

Crossmaglen Preseason 7’s:
Crossmaglen from Armagh have organised a preseason 7’s competition on the 26th of February. The tournament is designed to get girls back into playing competitive football, and is an ideal reason for teams to be back out training. For more info contact Marion McNamee, Crossmaglen Ladies Secretary contact number 086-440288. Permission has been granted by Croke Park but please note once clubs have confirmed their participation with Crossmaglen they must inform Croke Park of their involvement to be covered under the injury fund scheme. Dublin Minor and U16 Training Panels 2011:
Details and information on the Dublin minor and U16 training Panels 2011 has been posted on the website. Well done to everyone who represented their clubs at the trials over the last few weekends.

Dublin U14 Panel 2011:
Details on the Dublin U14 panel will be posted on the website shortly, well done to the 133 girls who braved the elements on Sunday morning last in St Brigids.
