Brown starts managerial career with a win!

The 2nd Annual OZO Dub Stars games took place in Kilmacud Crokes last Saturday despite the wet and windy conditions the large number of spectators witnessed two enjoyable encounters.

The football game between  the All-Ireland championship Dublin and the OZO Dub Stars was a close encounter right up until the 13th minute of the second half when player of the match Lyndsey Davey showed her class when she hammered home two goals in the second half to clinch the game for the sky blues. 

Dublin ran out comfortable winners in the end on the scoreline of 3 - 6 to 0 -8 thus marking a winning debut for new blues manager Tommy Brown.

Pat Quill, President of Cumann Peil Gael na mBan made the presentation after the game to winning Dublin captain Sorcha Furlong.

The camogie game was a very tight encounter and at the end the honours were shared on a scoreline of OZO Dub Stars 1 - 9  Dublin 1 - 9.

Ciara Burgess (Raheny) won the Player of the Match Award.

Camogie Association Joan OFlynn presented the cup jointly to captains Catriona Power (Dublin) and Louise OHara (OZO Dub Stars).

A special presentation was made on behalf of the Camogie Board by Brendan Cooper to Maureen King, Chairperson of the Dublin Ladies Football Board to mark Dublins first All-Ireland Senior title win in 2010
