Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Association Weekly Notes:

Congratulations to Dublin Captain, Denise Masterson on being named as Irish Times Sportswoman of the Month for November. The overall winner of the Sportswoman of the year title will be announced at a ceremony later in the Month.

Has your club a player, mentor or administrator that goes above and beyond to make your clubs a success it is? If so nominate them for TESCO club person of the year 2010. Closing date for entries is this coming Friday the 17th of December application forms can be downloaded from www.ladiesgaelic.ie or from www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie please note completed application forms must be with the Ladies Office in Croke Park by 5pm on Friday.

The December County Board meeting will take place on Tuesday the 14th of December @ 7.30pm in Parnell Park. The agenda has been circulated to all clubs along with AGM recommendations left over from Convention and proposed 2011 date planner. As there are a number of additional important items on the agenda it is essential that all clubs have at least one delegate in attendance.

The 2010 OZO Dub Stars will take place in Kilmacud Crokes GAA grounds, Glenalbyn on Tuesday the 28th of December. The second annual Dub Stars will see the football XV take on All Ireland champions Dublin @ 12:45pm while the Camogie XV will play their Dublin counter parts @ 2:15pm. The 2010 OZO football team has been announced and is available to view on www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie

The Dublin GAA yearbook will be available is now available to purchase as usual it is a jam packed publication has terrific pictures and articles on all aspects on Dublin GAA including great coverage of Dublin’s All Ireland win thus making it perfect stocking filler.
