This Coming Sat - OZO Dubs Stars

  • Jan 10,2011

The OZO Dub Stars will take place in Kilmacud Crokes GAA club, Glenalbyn on Saturday the 15th of January the event had been previously postponed from late December due to the Winter Snow.

The event in its second year is a joint initiative between Ladies Football and Camogie whereby the tops club players in both codes take on their respective County teams.

The OZO football team for 2010 is made up of twenty players representing 12 clubs from across the Capital. The Dub Stars won the inaugural crown and this year’s selection committee have chosen a strong panel of players which includes five All Stars.

Dub Stars Manager Camillus Kilpatrick has without question thrown down the gauntlet to new Dublin boss, Tommy Brown as the 2010 Dub Stars team will be a formidable outfit to try and depose.

Camillus Kilpatrick has added Pat Stritch the newly appointed Dublin Senior B manager as part of his 2010 Dub Stars management team along with Kathleen Colreavy.

The game versus the OZO Dubs Stars has now become ideal opportunity to prepare for the forth coming Bord Gáis Energy NFL and new Dubs boss Tommy Brown along with fellow selectors, Mick Ryan and Angie McNally will be casting their eye over the players on view with the intention of building a strong panel going forward for the 2011 season.

Brown is expected to name his first Dublin line out as manager within the next day or so.
