December County Board Meeting:
The next meeting of the County Board will be on December 14th in Parnell Park at 7.30pm. Matters for consideration on the Agenda are to be in the Office by Tuesday 7th Dec at the latest.
Planning Ahead:
Clubs need to start thinking about the 2011 season which starts in about 14 weeks time - yes March is only 14 weeks away! So please begin to plan which teams you are entering, etc as Affiliations will commence early in January.
Spirit of the GAA:
The Irish Daily Star on Sunday in association with TG4 and O’Neill’s arelooking for 4 provincial clubs who promote all the aims and ideals of the GAA. More info at www.tg4.ie/club
Dub All Stars 2010:
The DUB ALL STARS will take place in Kilmacud Crokes on December 28th this year. More details later.
Club History:
Each year, every County and Province is required to send in a history to the Central Council archives. Dublin is up to date with this and the article almost finished. We would like to include a brief article on each Club. A sample has been circulated.
GAA Coaching Conference 2010:
GAA Coaching Conference will take place in Croke Park on Saturday 4th December. The theme this year is "Coaching Children: building a platform for lifelong involvement in Gaelic games". Cost €50. More information on gamesdevelopment@gaa.ie
Medals for collection:
Winners and runners-up can collect their Medals from Eurotab. The voucher numbers are attached. Extra medals [we supply 20] can be ordered from Eurotab at €6 each when collecting them - allow a week for engraving, etc.
