Thousands welcome "Brendan Martin" to Dublin..

Thousands of well-wishers and supporters gave "Brendan Martin" a warm welcome to the Capital as the jubilant Dublin team celebrated their victory following Sundays TG4 All Ireland final with Dublin fans last night.

The history making team and management made an open deck bus tour to three GAA clubs Naomh Mearnóg, St Brigids and Ballyboden St Endas and where visibly surprised yet thrilled with the huge turnout of well-wishers who had come along to show their appreciation to a group of girls who have given so much to the sport in the Capital.

The number of young children who queued in the rain to get their picture taken or for an autograph from their heroines was a joy to watch and a memory that will stay with all the players for a long time.

A special mention has to go to Committee and members of Naomh Mearnóg, St Brigids and Ballyboden St Endas for organising the events at their  respective clubs, thank you.

The Dublin players and management also made a special trip to Our Ladys Hosptital in Crumlin and Temple St Childrens hospital on Monday morning, thanks to the staff in both hospitals for all their assistance.
