  • Sep 20,2010

The County Board will meet on Tuesday 21st Sept at 7.30pm in Parnell Park. The agenda will be circulated tomorrow night.

The Dublin Senior "B" team have collected our first Senior Championship trophy.  Well done.  Report on the website

LEINSTER CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
Hard luck to Clannagael Fontenoy who lost to Ballymahon of Longford by a single point in their first Leinster Intermediate Club game. Having lost Kim Flood and Diane OHora to injury early in the first half they were 9 points behind with 15 minutes to the final whistle and regained 8! Best wishes to Kim & Diane and hope to see them back soon.

Hard luck too to Raheny who had Edenderry [Offaly] in the Leinster Junior Club competition. The Edenderry girls put 3-9 past our sticks to Rahenys 1-6.

The Dublin Adult Championship came to an end on Saturday morning with a hard fought game between old rivals St James Gaels and Craobh Chiaráin in the Junior "D" fixture. The game was decided by a single goal and the cup went to the Gaels Girls. Well done. Photos on GAApics.com [link from the website] and report to follow.

  • Can each Club keep a record of the numbers travelling to Croke Park next Sunday please. A member of the Executive Committee will check as this information is required at Central Council

  • New rates and discounted tickets are available from the Ladies Gaelic office [T: 01 8363156 l F: 01 8363111 l E: info@ladiesgaelic.ie] if you book in advance. There are also vouchers to mark NATIONAL GRANDPARENTS DAY. See details on our website.

  • Best wishes to Cualas Gaelic 4 Mothers who are playing an exhibition game on the BIG DAY. Their preparations are being recorded for posterity by RTEs Capital D - well be watching the T.V. for you!
