St Sylvester’s overcame Thomas Davis is a close game to setup a final with Raheny.
Junior C Championship-
Na Fianna came from behind against a young skilful BSJ team to join Kilmacud Crokes in the final. BSJ had beaten the Na Fianna team twice already this year, but the experience gained and work rate demonstrated Na Fianna when they won the Junior D championship last year, stood to them in the last 15 minutes.
The BSJ squad boosts a couple of players from the very successful current Dublin U16 panel and have a great future.Aisling Lyons the Na Fianna captain gave a perfect performance in the second half with long range scores and provided the perfect target women for Na Fianna at full forward. The referee’s player of the game accolade was awarded to the Na Fianna fullback Antoinette Rock who made some important tackles to foil certain BSJ goals throughout the game.
