The next meeting of the County Board will be Tuesday 15th June.

Because of the Holiday Weekend, any matters for the Agenda must be with the Co Secretary on Thursday morning next, 10th June.


Support welcome for the Under 14s who are in their All Ireland Final next Saturday, 12th June at 3.45pm in St Brigids Club, Kiltoom, Co Roscommon

A compilation of the principle Rules for playing Ladies Football have been circulated. Club delegates should make copies and distribute them to Mentors and Players.

  • The Official Guide [Rule Book] can be found on the Ladies Gaelic website [we will arrange a link from our website in due course] and these rules have been amended by Congress this year as noted at the last County Board meeting. The changes to the website [2009] edition are now circulated.

  • Reminder - Each Club is mandated by Central Council to purchase 6 tickets to the Ladies All Ireland Final in September. This remittance [€150] is now due and should be sent in to the Co.Secretary.

  • The G4M Registration Form is circulated. There is no fee for this, we are compiling the information both at County and Headquarters level for record purposes only. Please complete the forms and send to Lyn Savage and copy the Co.Secretary. Thanks. The G4M Provincial Blitz details have already been circulated.

  • We are still taking bookings for Referee Grab Your Whistle courses. The "GYW" course is designed to teach the skills required to referee games up to Under 14 and is a foundation level for development up to Level 1 [Adult] and Inter County refereeing. The course takes place over two consecutive days, from 10am to 4pm, with snack break. A €5 fee applies, to cover the snack and the dates and venues are; Naomh Barróg on Sat 26th & Sun 27th June and the course is repeated in Naomh Olaf on Sat 3rd & Sun 4th July.
