Our first ever U10 Summer Football Blitz took place last Saturday take place. Thanks to everyone who made the day a memorable one for the 500+ girls who particpated. Pictures and match programme available from website. Particpaing clubs across the varios locations are asked to forward any photos from the event to info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie to be posted on our website.

The Juvenile Summer leagues have now being finalised, many thanks to Eugene Egan and the sub committee for their hard work in this our
first ever Juvenile Summer Leagues for 2009 with 50 teams participating. Remember a sub commitee has been setup to admminister these games all contacts have been sent to clubs and can be found on website.

All trophies from the 2008 victorious teams must be returned ASAP to county board members.

WEll done to the U16 panel who pervailed in their Leinster semi final against Laois on Saturday with a scoreline of 6-10 to 1-11. The girls will now play Meath in the final on the 11th of July.

The Senior Jackies play Meath Away next Saturday in the start of our  defense of their Leinster title. Senior ladies leinster semi-final v Meath on 4th July in Pairc Tailteann at 4.30.

Dublin ladies Minor team fund raising quiz in Naomh Mearnog on Friday 3rd.July @ 8.30.


ON the club front the Intermediate Semi Final Championship draw took place with Clannagael Fontenoy V Garda and
Parnells V St.Brigids.Venues and dates TBC.

In the senior championship Naomh Mearnog pipped Ballyboden  by 2 points to keep their chances alive of making the final.With one round remaining there is a possibility of a 2 or 3 way play off to decide the final pairings depending on the results obtained by Naomh Mearnog,Ballyboden and Foxrock . Foxrock/Cabinteely V Naomh Mearnog and Ballyboden V Fingallians are the remaining fixtures pencilled in for the 8th of July. Ballyboden are aiming to make it 10 senior championships in a row this year and will have to get past an ever improving Fingallians first and then could only be in a play-off depending on other resutls to contest a final.
